Upcoming Special Events from our friends at the Bergen County Film Commission, held at the Williams Center, Rutherford, NJ:

Reel Jersey Film Festival: A Celebration of American Film Past, Present & Future September 25-28 at the Williams Center, One Williams Plaza, Rutherford, NJ.

This festival is sponsored by the Bergen County Film Commission in association with the Fort Lee Film Commission. The festival will incorporate as the future element the annual Jersey Filmmakers of Tomorrow Bergen County High School Student Film Festival. This festival will also showcase films from present day filmmakers. Among the films scheduled to screen at this festival is the Academy Award winning documentary short film "Freeheld" produced in New Jersey. This festival will also showcase a full retrospective element curated by the Fort Lee Film Commission. Work shops and symposiums will be held in addition to the screenings which will take place in the Williams Center and which will access all five screens as well as the 1923 Rivoli Theatre in the Williams Center.
